#193: Best News

Today is one of the best days in my life. I am so happy. I received a letter from the University of Singapore saying that I was accepted to their 2-year Master in Public Policy program. Not only that, I also received a full scholarship. After I read the letter today in the morning, I could not stand in one place. I was literally hopping. I walked around in the office. I had bought two Russian pancakes with blueberry stuffing for breakfast, but I was too excited to eat. They are still on my desk. Anyways, I am so happy. Today I am going to meet scholarship people to discuss the details.

Azamatsyng, Azamat!

That's fantastic opportunity! Congratulations! It's great place to live, study and simply enjoy your life! Make sure to make full use of it and apply for PR (Permanent Residency) after you complete your study. As I know, those who finish graduate programs in Singapore have privileges to apply for it.

Aza,

Congrats! Do you feel now that all those hours spent studying for GRE are worth every second? :)

Are you waiting to hear back from other schools (in the US, for example)? I remember I got my letter in late April.

Thanks, everyone! It is great.
Aibek, I will need your tips as to what to take there, etc.
Ruslan, well, i did not have to take GRE for this. But, it helped in terms of math. I had a math test.
Bob, I will definitely visit you in KL.
As for celebrations, I am already afraid to think about them. Many more long and drunks nights with friends...

Azamat!! My name is Steven, and I just found out I have been shortlisted for NUS! I have a phone interview next Wednesday with a quantitative test of some sort. Anyways, how was your interview last year? You said it was your first phone interview, so you were probably as nervous as I am now. How was the test? Well, I hope your loving singapore and are studying hard, hopefully I will see you in September! Take care Azamat. My email is hollenchamp@hotmail.com or you can just post here and I will check it. Thanks!
